Pregnancy Testing and Ultrasound

At your My Future Approved clinic, you will meet with a registered nurse who will run your urine pregnancy test. It is possible to have a positive urine test and have a pregnancy that is unlikely to carry to term. An ultrasound may follow your urine test to confirm the pregnancy and measure how far along you are.

STI Testing and Treatment

Your nurse will examine your need for STI testing. If you’re thinking about an abortion, it is important to know if you have an STI to lower your risk of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. My Future Approved clinics offer testing and treatment services for chlamydia and gonorrhea for pregnant patients. They can also provide referrals for any other needed testing.

Options and Resources

You will also be provided with information on all your options based on how far along you are in your pregnancy. Your nurse will answer questions on abortion procedures and costs, adoption options, and parenting.

After confirming a pregnancy at a clinic near you, your nurse can provide you with written confirmation of pregnancy at no cost. This written confirmation may qualify you for prenatal Medicaid and other resources.
